Job Description:" The initial duration would be 6 months with the hope to keep          the consultant longer.  The person would be doing SQL, Unix scripting, and        possibly Java in an Oracle environment, to support the installation of new    Regulatory Reporting rules engine software. We would like someone who is 

flexible and sharp at picking up new technologies. The job would be located

in Tampa Florida.

Job Description/Scope of Work to Be Performed:

 The role is an IT Business Analyst who is responsible for performing business analysis, project management, and product development activities for global compliance / information security products. The primary activities for the role include:

·         Managing multiple, concurrent IT projects throughout the entire lifecycle

·         Coordinating global working groups for the projects inclusive of IT Risk, Control and Emerging Risk (CER), and Compliance stakeholders

·         Analyzing and documenting business requirements

·         Ensuring the requirements align to organizational policies and procedures

·         Effectively communicating requirements to technology partners

·         Partnering with various project delivery stakeholders, including business analysts, architects, application developers, and software validation testers to ensure the product is developed and delivered in an effective manner

·         Contributing to enhancing policies that provide the framework for the projects

 

Skills Required:

·         MS Word, Excel, Visio

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Good analytical ability

·         Knowledge of Operation Risk/IT Risk domain is preferred but not mandatory
