Job Title	Peoplesoft Treasury Techno functional consultant
Relevant Experience (Yrs)	7 to 8 years
Technical/Functional Skills	·         Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the development of PeopleSoft customized applications   ·         Extensive work experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 or higher, in a public sector environment which uses the accrual accounting method   ·         Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft core applications, specifically with the Treasury modules - Bank Transfers and Deal Management modules - and their interfaces to the General Ledger and other modules   ·         Substantive knowledge of PeopleSoft Treasury accounting process and configuration   ·         Hands-on experience in configuring PeopleSoft Treasury accounting templates and setting up accounting items and calculation types   ·         Experience in setting up Mark-to-Market reports a plus   ·         Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft core applications and underlying data structure; knowledge of PeopleTools 1 and 2, PeopleSoft Query; PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR and Application Messaging   ·         Substantive experience in UNDP PeopleSoft Implementation an advantage

Roles & Responsibilities	Majorly, this engagement will be designing and implementing a revised PeopleSoft Treasury accounting configuration that is compliant to the IPSAS requirements adopted by UNDP, and ensuring accurate accounting entry generation and posting to the General Ledger.      Tasks and Responsibilities:   The incumbent is expected to perform the following tasks and responsibilities:   Provide guidance on the best practices of implementing IPSAS in PeopleSoft environment, specifically in the Treasury module   Re-configure the treasury accounting process and templates to align with the IPSAS requirements   Be able to work from functional/technical specifications to configure solutions in Treasury application or to write code from documented specifications   Setup Mark-to-Market report and accounting generation   Design and implement a migration strategy for open investment deals and  transactions to the new IPSAS-compliant accounting setup   Unit and system test the new treasury accounting configuration   Provide support and perform necessary adjustments during the user acceptance testing   Ensure proper migration of new configuration and any custom components, to the production environment   Complete documentation of the treasury accounting configuration and customizations made   Provide initial production support and conduct knowledge-transfer to in-house resources
