JOB DESCRIPTION:
It's a "generalist" -- solid developer with support skills — ideally seek Sharepoint or can learn quickly
It's agile team – small-mid sized projects – add hoc requests from user
Enhancements to systems
The first project will work with Sharepoint so need to jump in very quickly
It's not a straight developer with .NET— want someone EAGER to work with new technologies – eg, Sharepoint and new tools
Database – need comfortable working in the database – and can work with other Database developers
They are Using both SQL Server and Oracle – ability to learn both
Basic SQL – table joins,  some stored procs , any triggers
Pull data from the database
There is a lot of sharepoint and intra-net development..  .NET and Sharepoint is being used now  (they have an excellent consultant in house)
 -- Need  ASP.NET skills – ideal to have sharepoint  or ability to pick up very quickly
They use ASP.NET – 3.5  (WEBForms)
It's all web based applications — they support some Java and legacy code
MOSS – microsoft office Sharepoint Server (they are on 2007 versions and going to 2010)
Need someone who can learn very fast .. Use different technologies /high aptitude to figure it out.
Will be coding day to day – about 60% development
30% production support for 3rd party tools (eg, JIRA – level 3 support that was escalated)- will learn all systems and work with Vendors
10% coordination /communication
Will learn about financial services – freedom to take classes , tremendous training and and learn about electronic Trading
Can technically lead others and projects — seeking "leadership" skills
Examples of projects  -moving from legacy application to sharepoint
Also create new development tools  - interface with top developers in the company
They add value on a day to day basis — they create a  more centralized, more organized system for the organization

MUST HAVES: 
1)Strong BOBJ and Xcelsius development skills including connectivity using Live Office or Qaas
2)Previous experience on projects using Agile methodology
3)Communication skills and ability to talk to both internal customers and technical teams

Additional Details: 
Developer position; not a Lead. However, the developer needs to be a self-starter who can work independently.
Primarily use Webi for report generation. It is 100% report development. There will be some data mapping and data gap analysis required as part of the development process.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include medium to high complexity BOBJ report development, strong knowledge of Xcelsius and connectivity using Live Office or Qaas

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3-5 years experience in the following:
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple deliverables in support of BOBJ projects
- BOBJ report development for Versions 5.14 through XiR3
- Adhoc and standard report development using BOBJ and/or Xcelsius
- Performance test of reports
- Follow guidelines and development process including unit testing
- Work in a team development environment as well as independently
- Ability to deliver on complex universes and advanced reports
- Expertise in using aggregate aware, index aware, cascaded prompts, and complex calculations in BOBJ designer
- Willingness to uncover and understand Our Client's specific data and make recommendations to internal customers for greater use/efficiency 
- Teradata experience is a plus- nice to have
- Requires good communication skills both oral and written forms
- Should be comfortable in both business and technical settings/situations
