Position : WebMethods Developer (min 5 yrs)

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: 12 Months

 

The developer will be part of the team which will be responsible for server upgrade to WebMethods I.S. version 8.0/8.2 from 7.0 and existing applications. A key to success in this role is a unique blend of technical skills, business knowledge, and interpersonal communication skills. The following table summarizes skills that would be required for candidate:

Consulting Experience

Programming Experience

Object oriented programming experience. Expertise with inheritance, data abstraction, polymorphism, etc.

Java programming expertise

Experience with MQ series or MSMQ products

Custom Adapter Development experience

Knowledge on Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)

Trading networks

Adapter Services and notifications

Flat file parsing experience

Mainframe Integration background would be plus

Database

SQL Writing skills

Experience with Oracle DB and/or Microsoft SQL Server

Experience with JDBC

General Technical background

Expertise with source and version control products (PVCS, VCS, Microsoft SourceSafe, Perforce, etc.)

Knowledge of basic web security issues: authentication, encryption, authorization, non-repudiation. Knowledge of firewalls, SSL, etc.

XML Experience: Knowledge of DTDs, Schemas, XSLT

Enterprise Web Services experience

Technical/Functional Skills :       

The successful candidate should have 7+ years of PeopleSoft Payroll and HR functional experience with working knowledge of Version 9.0. Familiarity with PeopleTools is needed. Ability to define and document end user requirements. Highly skilled in understanding core PeopleSoft Payroll regarding capabilities, configuration settings, and available options to address requirements. Must be self-motivated and capable of working with end-users, project and support team members, and vendors. Must be able to identify viable solutions and provide gross-level estimates. Experienced in developing and documenting business processes and procedures and test cases.

 

Experience Required: 7+  Yrs

 

Roles & Responsibilities:             

As part of the Payroll IT Systems Team, will serve as the principle Business Analyst for Payroll system changes. Will work with end users and team members to fully understand and document requirements. Will then identify solution options within the PeopleSoft product that meets requirements in the most efficient manner. Will be the PeopleSoft Payroll subject matter expert on the project team.
