1. Webserver with Hadoop technology: in our next generation products, we expect to receive about 1-2TB per day. We want to understand the benefit of Hadoop and perhaps leverage its technology to address our needs. In addition to data volume, we expect to perform many analytic application in real time so our analytic engine need to leverage the distributed environment to speed up the analysis. We were told that Python would be a good candidate to develop and implement the business logic in this layer.

 

 

Position 2:

2. UI platform (or presentation platform): our current UI platform is .NET 4.0, Winform, WPF. For our next generation products, we are interested in expanding to other devices such as tablets and mobile phone. We are looking for guidance on which platform we should consider to develop our UI on.

 

Position 3:

3. Graphical workflow: we currently develop our own graphical workflow using 3rd party tools. Again, with the next product generation, we would like to know what are available on the market and which tools should we consider to develop our next generation workflow.

 

So in summary, we are looking for consultants/experts in these areas who can provide guidance, direction, and define an execution plan. He/she will then work with our engineers to initiate the development effort.
