Client is looking for an SAP Netweaver Portal Administrator/Developer to assist them as they move from their current environment onto the SAP system and to provide ongoing support.  The person who fills this position will be a crucial member of the implementation team and provide overall solution design input in the future.  Client will be implementing SAP ECC 6.0 for the areas of Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, Project Execution, Operations and Human Resources.

• ·            Uses the SAP Portal administrative tools and the development tools to design and develop portal application content
• ·            Works closely with other development team members for end-to-end Portal design and solution
• ·            Integrate Portal with other SAP environments
• ·            Work closely with SharePoint team on integration related activities
• ·                  Design, develop and Maintain portal applications – BW, GRC, ESS/MSS, Travel, ECC, and SAP CLM

Basic/Minimum Qualifications

·                  Bachelors degree in business, MIS, computer science, or equivalent experience

·                  6 years diversified information services/technology experience with at least 3 years of experience as a SAP Portal Administrator/Developer

·                  BW, ESS/MSS portal experience a must

·                  GRC, SRM, SAP CLM portal experience a plus

·                  Portal Security & Content Administration knowledge

·                  SAP Web Application Server knowledge

·                  Service Oriented Architecture design and techniques

·                  Effect use of System Landscape Directory

·                  When to best use Application Development Tools (NetWeaver Developer Studio, Visual Composer, guided procedures, NetWeaver Development Infrastructure)

·                  Customize SAP Standard business packages for branding and presentation

·                  Excellent written and oral communication

·                  Good customer service skills

·                  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

·                  Ability to design reporting solutions to meet business requirements

·                  Ability to estimate the financial impact of reporting design decisions

·                  Ability to work in a team environment

DESCRIPTION:
Informatica Administration of version 8.6 and 9.x are required with skills in Data Integration, SQL, Unix Scripting, and data warehousing. Perform administration of the Informatica PowerCenter 8.6 and 9 Platform, and manage the Informatica 9 architecture. Install the platform, configure add and manage services. Define and set up platform best practices for users, user, privileges, roles, and permissions. Assign users to groups, privileges to roles and roles to groups. Assign permissions. Manage the domain. Manage repositories and repository folders. Backup and migrate the Informatica Domain database. Implement the metadata reporter and repository MX views. Use the command line to manage the domain and repository, start and control workflows. Upgrade licenses.

· 8 years medium to large-scale data management environment experience

· Informatica upgrade to v9.1, IDQ, IDE, PWX experience

· Strong technical knowledge with an emphasis on data

· Demonstrated understanding of data architecture concepts and strategies, including types of data and the relationships between them; optimal data placement strategies; data usage guidelines; data technical components and the relationships between them

· Strong understanding of networking and security requirements and issues as they relate to data movement (e.g. - database/data warehouse access, data replication, data movement, data distribution)

· Strong understanding of databases and data access methodologies

· Strong understanding of data messaging techniques and processes

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task work assignments, on two or more projects

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong teamwork skills within I.S. and client community

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Highly Self-Driven and Self-Motivated

· Ability to train/mentor Junior Staff members

· Development experience: Designs, constructs, tests, and implements data extraction, transformation and load programs, processes and cycles from source systems into target systems, using standard Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) tools, for large, complex projects.

· Implements and supports ETL processes.
