Job Title: Senior Web Developer

Duration: 6 month contract

 Location: Sommerset, NJ

 

Silverlight development - Must Have

 

Consults with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage web sites. Develops installation programs for websites. May negotiate contracts/agreements with software vendors and other internet companies. May require a Bachelors degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 

Web Front-End:

Silverlight development - Must Have

Strong ASP.NET 2.0-3.5 web development (3 - 5yrs)

Strong XHTML and Javascript experience (3 - 5yrs)

Experience writing web services (3 - 5yrs)

Experience writing windows/console applications

Strong OOP background

SSAS & SSRS (nice to have)

Sharepoint (nice to have)

Web Design experience (nice to have)

 

Database:

SQL Server

Oracle

Stored Procedure/Package/triggers development

Relational Database Design experience

 

Third Party Utilities (Plus but not required:)

ComponentArt suite

Aspose.Cells component

Job Title: Software Engineer 
Reports to: Director of Application Engineering 
Department: Tax & Accounting; Indirect Tax 

Job Summary: 
We are seeking a highly motivated Java Developer with 4+ years of experience in enterprise and/or hosted applications development. 

We seek a candidate with demonstrable, proven expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Implementation and with applied experience using Design Patterns. Broad experience in various types of databases and distributed and web-based applications. Superior communication and collaborative skills. Experience with advanced Open Source technologies such as Hibernate, Spring, and Portal/Portlet technologies highly desired. 

Job and work experience requirements: 

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 
• 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting products in an enterprise or SaaS environment 
• Experience with full life cycle development: including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and acceptance testing 
• Strong working knowledge with Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Implementation 
• Experience in UI frameworks and technologies (e.g., Google Web Toolkit, Ajax, CSS, Dojo, JavaScript, etc.) 
• Experience with agile/ iterative design and development methodologies 
• Java and J2EE development and analysis experience including SQL coding 
• 3+ years experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQLServer databases 
• Hibernate 3 and Spring experience highly desired 
• Experience in any of the following is considered a plus: 
- A variety of open source frameworks 
- Applying Design Patterns and Enterprise Application Integration Patterns 
- Performance testing, analysis, and tuning experience 
- IntelliJ IDEA IDE 


Other specialized knowledge and skills required: 
• Proven strong analytical design and trouble-shooting skills 
• Highly accountable for meeting all commitments and deadlines 
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences 
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively
