Job Title: SharePoint 2010 Developers
Location: Detroit, MI
Terms: contract 6 months
· We have multiple openings for SharePoint resources
Technical skills required include: SharePoint 2010, Visual Studio, C#, IIS
Job Responsibilities:
· The SharePoint Developer’s duties will be building and configuring new SharePoint websites using web UI or SharePoint Designer and developing code for SharePoint
· Responsible for developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, and/or enterprise content management
· Assist in project development; define technical requirements and develop solutions
· Provide on-going support for applications
· Design and create/customize and implement high quality, scalable SharePoint solutions
· Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites; provide Unit testing for all assigned deliverables
· Take directions from management in implementing solutions
· Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration
Education / Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field
· Microsoft SharePoint Certification such as MOSS and WSS are a Plus
· At least five (5) years of technical experience as an IT Developer and Designer, with a minimum of three (3+) years experience with (SP) SharePoint 2007/2010, three (3+) years experience in .Net Development using Visual Studio, C#, IIS and SQL Server 2005/2008.
· A successful candidate must have thorough knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET.
· Good problem solving and analytical skills, use them to resolve technical problems
· Possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies
· Full lifecycle experience in designing and developing large scale business applications.
· Strong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships.
· Good communication skills; ability to communicate (verbal/written) to all levels of the business.
· The SharePoint developer must also be self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
· Experience in the Automotive industry is a Plus
