Title                        : Video Setup box - QA lead and QA engineers

Job Responsibilities:

·         Lead the QA certification testing of new STB hardware and firmware and work closely with Product Engineering and vendor organizations on problem analysis and resolution

·         Lead the definition, implementation and execution of automated test strategies associated with Set-top Box hardware and related API firmware.

·         Lead multiple video testing projects around Interactive Television applications (EBIF applications and guides) on DCT700/1800/2500, DCH70/100/200, and DCX100/3200 Set Tops.

·         Experience in Video Head end equipment configuration, test execution, IP multicast, and edge QAM output transport streams analysis, video quality verification, and troubleshooting applicable lab and field issues

·         Develops test cases and detail test scenarios, execution, tracking, and automation. Ensures proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts. Participates in design, code, and functional product reviews to facilitate white-box test design.

·         Support end-to-end testing with Motorola, Samsung, Cisco, Set-Top Boxes (STBs) and DTAs, connected TVs and Seachange/ Tandberg Video on Demand Systems.

·         Lead SME for multiple functional areas of STB firmware, including but not limited to Native code download, DSG code download and OpenCable code download, Native to Tru2Way migration.

·         Knowledge of defect management tool like MQC
