It is expected that the candidate for this position will have a strong working knowledge of BizTalk ESB and be able to code artifacts with little or no assistance. This position may also include the development of several applications,  using C#. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, a team player, and a good communicator, and capable of multitasking.

General:Has experience in multiple system environments. Should also be experienced in designing, developing, and test applications. * Combine multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions * Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or user requirements to design solutions. Responsible for the application development as well as the application environment * Understands various types of tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage * Responsibilities extend to all components of an application and application environment including front, back, and middle tiers where applicable. These individuals can lead a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation * Has worked on various platforms including mainframes, minis and micros * Work may involve interacting with and managing product vendors/suppliers * Perform as a Team Leader when required. Job DescriptionRequired: Minimum 5 years of experience with Object Oriented People Code, Application Packages, Functional Libraries, `burand Application Engine. Needs some experience with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), Time and Labor and Absence Management modules, and Payroll, N.A. Prefer the candidate have experience with integrating Time and Labor to Payroll, N.A. A functional understanding of Time and Labor and Absence Management and Payroll, N.A. is a big plus.

 

The ideal candidate must be able to develop Peoplesoft customizations and assist the technical developers with customizations and analysis of configurations of the PeopleSoft 9.1 Time and Labor and Absence Management systems, especially with how they relate to Payroll N.A.

Web UI, JavaScript, front-end developer position available in Boston. Create and implement dynamic, custom data visualizations in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other UI technologies supported by FreeMarker and a Java Content Display Application back end.

Responsibilities:
- Develop event driven client UI applications with JavaScript and libraries like jQuery, HighCharts and HTML5 Boilerplate that utilize Java back end web services
- Construct, comment and [unit] test user interface programs, modules and classes of high complexity
- Work with and develop client programs, classes and sub-systems of medium to high complexity
- Perform system integration activities of medium to high complexity
- Maintain and support existing user interface applications, modules/sub-systems of medium to high complexity
- Work with Business Analysts to ensure that technical design and programs satisfy business needs
- Assist with system size, performance, security and peer UI code evaluations
- Implement quality assurance standards for development activities within assigned projects
- Acts as a consultative technical expert for other technical professionals
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications required:
- Experience in JavaScript and HTML/CSS within the last year is required
- Formal training in UI application programming languages and real world enterprise implementation
- Development on current projects lasting more than a few months
- Experience with Java, SVN, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins are a benefit
- Implementation experience including unit testing, ScriptDoc/JavaDoc style commenting, automation and knowledge of secure coding techniques
- Good, clean coding practices
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- 5+ years related UI development experience
- Familiar with application architecture, three-tier architecture and design patterns
