Job Title: Java Weblogic Portal Developer

Work Location:  Parsippany, NJ

Duration: 12 Months

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs) :           Minimum 6 years

Technical/Functional Skills :       

 

Experience developing on Web Applications

•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math or Science

•5 Years experience as a Technical Team Lead

•5 Years experience with Java and XML

•WEB 2.0 technologies

•Weblogic Portal, WebLogic 10.3

•Web service development experience with JAX-WS standard

•Spring -WS,

•Oracle SQL/PLSQL

•JAVA/J2EE, Hibernate and JPA

•Ant, Maven, Log4J, CVS, Eclipse

•Experience with XML, Web Services technologies preferred.

•Experience with relational database technologies preferred.

•Experience with XML, Web Services technologies preferred.

 

Experience Required:                    

Minimum 6 years

 

Roles & Responsibilities:             

•10%  Module level Design

•40%  Code Development

•20% Unit Testing

•10%  Troubleshooting Defects

•10%  Creating Code Fixes

Generic Managerial Skills:            

•Assist and Mentor Developers with Technical inputs

•Assist with Code Deployment

•Adhere to Coding Best Practices and Standards including SOX, PCI & PII

•Timely submission of timesheets

•Providing status

•Demonstrate good logical reasoning and problem solving skills.

•Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

•Exhibit ability to consistently work within and meet timelines.

•Demonstrate eagerness and ability to learn.

•Familiarity with UML

•Exhibit sound interpersonal and teamwork skills.

•Working knowledge of primary SDLC methodologies like RUP, Waterfall etc
