Cognos Developer

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:

·         Cognos Architect should have at least 8+ years of experience on different Cognos toolsets including latest version.

·         Analysis, design and implementation of the Cognos metadata layer

·         Expert in Framework Manager, ReportNet, Power Play

·         Design, development, test and maintain the Cognos metadata layer (Framework Manager)

·         Test and debug Cognos metadata layer and reports

·         Research and resolve Cognos technical issues

·         Partner with the Data Warehouse Architect to ensure the data model supports the reporting requirements

·         Experience in leading a Cognos upgrade and migration as well as installation and configuration.

·         Exposure to Oracle backend, data modeling, data warehousing principles is desired.

·         Experience of dealing with large volume of data and complex FM model would be helpful.

·         Cognos Certification would be added plus.
