Interview type : Phone Screen followed by face to face Interview will be required ..

Overview:

The resource will perform day to day support activities within Customer's environment supporting Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2007 and Windows 7 desktops and laptops using Symantec BackupExec, Symantec Antivirus, Symantec IM Gateway, Symantec Enterprise Vault and Symantec Altiris.  The resource will support servers within a Vmware virtual server environment

 

Responsibilities/Skills:

·        Must have experience working in a small IT environment and wearing numerous hats: 

o   Must have broad IT background. 

o   Looking for a self-starter, requiring little to no supervision.

o   Must be comfortable with small, often chaotic, environment.

·        Ideal candidate will be able to build a server, put in the data center, perform necessary installations, etc.

·        Work within current Windows landscape:

o   Exchange 2007 w/ 2003 Active Directory setup running on Win Server 2003.

o   Windows 7 desktops/laptops.

·        Must have experience in the following Symantec products:

o   Backup Exec

o   Antivirus

o   IM Gateway

o   Enterprise Vault

o   Altiris

·        Must have experience with VMware.

·        Infrastructure standardization experience also a must.
