Role: Sr. QA Analyst - Automation
Location: Eagan, Minnesota (United States of America)

Project Description:
Our first need out of gate will be to support a large project building a new web service based front end to our benefits definition. DB2, Java, Websphere, Web service based, and GWT (Google Web Toolkit) based. Will be over many months up to 3 years duration for project overall. Automation (QTP), test plan/case development in Quality Center, and of course test execution - for this project which will leverage an agile methodology.
Agile project, with releases every 2-3 weeks to Quality Assurance (regression) environment. Automation to support development each iteration/sprint, automation for regression to ensure new releases do not break previous functional capabilities, and lastly automation that will endure as part of this application being built for ongoing validation.
Idea is to build into the application a way for business to build benefit packages, then push to a QA environment for regression to prove benefit definition works. With that proof, then business would be able to send the benefit definition to the production world.
Day to day:
- Define Test Cases for requirements of iteration
- Automate test cases appropriate for automation
- Perform tests, report defects
- Re-set environment as needed for next tests
- Refine test automation framework to include needed capabilities to support the on-going requirement for regression tests in QA
