Job Title: Java Developer – Cash Equities

Location: New York

Duration: 12 Months

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs): 5+ years of Java development experience

Technical/Functional Skills:        

•5+ years in core Java development experience (not too much J2EE or web based) with design, development and implementation.

•Experience on Object Oriented Design, Multithreading and Messaging.

•Some experience in KDB / Shell scripting is preferable.

•Understanding of Eclipse, SVN.

•Good RDBMS experience preferably Oracle or SQL Server.

•Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

•Prior experience in Investment Banking and Cash Equities is preferred.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:             

•Senior developer

•Understand the requirements from customer

•Design solution options as per requirement

•Unit testing and System testing of developed solution Collaborate with alliance partners

 

Generic Managerial Skills:          

•5+ years of software development experience - financial industry preferable

•Team player with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

•Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills
