24996 QA Testing Analyst I – Addison, TX

QA Testing Analyst I participates in application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting.
The resource will be responsible for the following day to day activities:
Executing UAT test case planning, execution, defect tracking and reporting utilizing Mercury Quality Center.
Must excel in technical documentation of all phases of testing.
The candidate requires the following experience:
9-10 years or equivalent experience
Ability to understand and learn new systems quickly with minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently with very high attention to detail
Mortgage Experience (Credit Loss Management) or Financial Service Experience preferred
Knowledge of Systems QA testing procedures and methodologies, this position is a subject matter expert on the UAT testing team.

We are looking for folks with a very strong background in testing, knowledge of Quality Center and defect reporting. They need to be able to test and execute test scripts with minimal supervision, should have high attention to detail and be able to pick up new concepts quickly.

We are needing these 4 resources to be very strong in MS office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint. They also need to be able to write and run queries against Clear quest (our defect tracking system) as well as Quality Center to report out metrics on a daily basis. They need to have a very keen attention to detail and should be very comfortable with data.

These need to be resources local to Dallas.
