Job Title: Sr. SQL Server DBA

Location: Jersey City , NJ

10-12 years total exp

 

Skills:

Required:

·         10 to12 + years of overall IT industry experience with 8 to 10 years' experience in MSSQL Server

·         Should have experience in installing and configuring various versions of MSSQL Server

·         Must have experience in upgrading MSSQL server to 2005 and 2008

·         Must have Windows scripting skills for monitoring and reporting purposes

·         Should have experience implementing MSSQL Replication

·         Must have experience is implementing DR solution for MSSQL using log shipping or SQL mirroring

·         Should be able quickly identify root cause for performance issues and provide solutions

·         Should have experience dealing with MSSQL Dynamic management views and functions for performance analysis

·         Must have experience using SQL Profiler and Perfmon for troubleshooting performance issues

·         Should have experience in migrating servers across data centers.
