Linux Network Engineer

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Employment Type: Contract

Rate - $45/hr

 

Job Description: - Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

·        Excellent exposure to Linux ( lvm, nfs, iscsi, raid, package management, performance tuning, kernel tuning), Sun Solaris

·        Good knowledge of Linux networking

·        Familiarity with Apache, java, Tomcat, Sendmail, Perl, ruby, dtrace, tcp analysis tools.

·        Familiarity with version control systems such as CVS or Subversion

·        Jumpstart, Kickstart, DHCP, Netboot, DNS

·        Splunk knowledge

·        Linux Knowledge

·        Storage background (Exposure to SAN's, NAS, RAID)

·        System Performance tuning etc.
