Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN switching and basic IP routing

understand and troubleshooting STP

Designing scalable switching Networks

Understand network security risks and suggesting a secure Network design

implementing firewall solutions (firewall rules, SSL,VPN etc)

Implement VLANS in Cisco switches

Upgrade Cisco IOS on routers and switches like 2811,c3550/3560/2960

implement AAA solutions

Monitoring tools like Solar winds IP monitor

 

Good to have skills,

windows 2003/2008 servers (AD/DNS/DHCP/LDAP)

ESX Servers AND VM WARE

IIS WED servers

SQL 2008 Administration

Symantec Backup Exec tool
