SAP Basis Admin

Location : Redmond, WA and Philadelphia

Duration : 6months

 Job Description :

·               Provided technical support for existing SAP systems and bolt-on applications including: patching (SAP

·               Transport management, SPAU/SAINT, SAP kernel, SQL Server, Windows Server).

·               SAP system and bolt-on application trouble shooting and researching, performance analysis, tracing and debugging where applicable.

·               Perform incident management and analysis for the SAP Systems and bolt-on applications

·               Problem analysis: Leads investigations of problems by using standard and custom problem managementtools and processes.

·               Project management for IT-discretionary projects (including server builds, and application of Securitypatches)

·               Implementation Planning and Coordination: Develops or contributes to creating an implementation,

·               validation, and rollback plan, resulting in clear roles, dependencies and relationships of resources,enabling effective transition to operations

·               Contribute to Microsoft's internal SAP knowledge base articles

·               Develop strong collaborative relationships with peer teams interfacing with SAP Basis as well as SAP Basis team in India.

·               Must be able to effectively communicate technical problems in a non-technical manner.

·               Work independently within established guidelines and procedures

·               Extended coverage outside of normal work hours may be required.

·               Deliver excellent service and support to internal customers and partners. Position will be responsible for

·               monitoring progress against service level agreements.

·               Position is responsible for ensuring each reported problems are resolved in a timely manner, tracked

·               according to standards, and escalated problems are resolved as appropriate. Excellent Problem Analysis

·               and troubleshooting skills are required.

·               Solving high complexity issues, and communicating problem resolution and additional information to

·               management, executive leadership, customer groups, project teams and other IT support groups.

 

Qualifications include:

·               This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for technology. Candidates must function well in

·               a team environment. Candidates need to be organized with a proven ability to make the correct decisions under

·               pressure. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are required. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and the

·               ability to analyze complex problems quickly is a MUST for this position. Strong expertise in SAP Basis area (SAP

·               version 6.0 preferred), including ERP, GTS, BI, SCM, Solution Manager and others.

 

Requirements:

·         A minimum 2 to 4 years of demonstrated work experience supporting large-scale SAP installations (ERP, Global

·         Trade, E-Recruiting, etc.), Windows 2003/2008 Server, SQL Server 2000-2008, and Internet Information Server

·         (IIS5-6 and 7), in a large scale operations/production environment

·         Should have a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related discipline or equivalent work experience, MCSE, CCNA

·         preferred.

 

 

 

SAP SRM Consultant
Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration:  6 months

 

Job Requirement

·         Should have end to end project life cycle  implementation experience SRM preferably SAP R/3 4.6 (and above) and SRM 5.0

·         Demonstrated knowledge of procurement, EBP scenarios, strategic sourcing, AP etc. with hands-on experience on EBP, SRM Bidding engine, BRF workflow, SRM MDM Catalog.

·         Should have proven experience in EBP configuration, setting up self service procurement/ purchase group/organization/ product categories, building profiles/ authorizations etc.

·         Must have the ability to troubleshoot and debug the processes within EBP for transferring approved shopping carts to the backend R/3 system

·         Should have a good understanding and ability to analyze EBP workflows, reports and any customizations around them.

·         Proven knowledge and understanding of CCM within SRM-EBP along with setup and configuration of SRM MDM Catalog/Punch-out catalogs/OCI compliant catalogs within EBP.

·         Must possess a very good understanding of R/3 MM and logistics execution, w.r.t. POs, STOs, reservations, requisitions, and deliveries related to STOs.

·         Proven experience in several stages of an SAP SRM project including blueprint, configuration, implementation, testing and go-live support.

·         Should have exposure to other components such as SUS, LAC, contract management, XI, BW, BI, SSA, MDM, solution manager 4.0, and C-Project & C-folder connection to SRM.

·         Proven knowledge of EBP functional architecture, toolsets, design and implementation.

·         Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.

·         Roles and Responsibilities

·         Interact effectively with customers, developers and IT peers to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of modifications into the production environment.

·         As an SME, consultant should be able to analyze and translate business requirements to functional specifications and provide recommendations and best practices around solution design.

·         Analyze problem statements, suggest various options to address the problem specifying functionality, integrating systems, applying patches and participating in a multidisciplinary team environment.

·         Analyze work requests, provide estimations, prepare project plans and execute the work.

·         Responsible for implementation of organizational changes, identifying project risks, escalating problems to management, quality assurance and performance improvement.

·         Design and prototype solutions, develop customer relationships, perform knowledge transfer to customers, and support on-site training.

·         Adhere to quality and follow client defined standards and processes.

·         Perform system analysis, design, validation with customers, development, testing, implementation, documentation and issue resolutions in SAP applications and associated technology components.

·         Assist in the growth of the account and new SAP business opportunities.

 

AIX Admin

Location: Irving TX

Duration: 3 months

 

Skills

·          4-6 years of UNIX administration experience in the AIX, HACMP, LPAR, DLPAR, VIO and administration skills

·          Working knowledge on storage is an added advantage. Experience in shell scripting would be handy.

·          Responsible for day-to-day support (AIX) which includes.

·           System setup and customization

·           OS installation and configuration

·           OS hardening as per guidelines laid out by design team / security team

·           System disk storage maintenance (LVM)

·           System monitoring - CPU, Disk, Memory utilization etc.

·           Capacity planning inputs, Periodical reporting

·           Problem resolution and RCA for system issues

·           OS/Patches upgrade.

·           Scripting for automating tasks

·           Backup / Restore.

·           Responsibilities include hardware, OS, level troubleshooting.

·          Ability to write scripts and procedures to automate administration tasks.

·           HACMP, LPAR and DLPAR administration
