Direct Client - Cognos Developer, NY

Title                        : Cognos Developer

Location                : New York

Rate                       : $ open/hr all inc

Start Date              : ASAP

Duration                : 6 months (may get extended)

 

  *   Cognos Developer with minimum 3-5 years’ experience

  *   Preferred candidates should have financial background

  *   Experience in Cognos 8.3/8.4: Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio

  *   Strong SQL Query writing skills requires

  *   Able to design, develop, and enhance complex reports and dashboard

  *   Have strong knowledge of BI/DW

  *   Strong skill in developing Dashboards, scheduling, bursting, graphs and conditional formatting

  *   Hand on experience in performance tuning and optimization.

  *   Proficient using Microsoft Office 2007/10

  *   Must be responsible, have good communication skills

  *   Working close with end-users and completing all assignments before the deadline including Ad hoc reports.
