Requirements :

• 5 years of server installation, configuration and management experience

• Experience testing client-server and web applications.

• Ability to actively participate in team environment and self manage personal deliverables

• Able to cope with change, shift gears comfortably, able to compromise, and willingness to accept change in a positive manner

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related field of study from an accredited college or university and five years job-related experience, or equivalent experience.

 

The following certifications are desired:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

• Cisco Product Expert

• Network+, Security+, A+, Linux+

• VMWare Certified Professional

• Cisco Certified Network Professional

 

Position Details:

• Server management, proficient with Microsoft 2008, 2003 servers, Active Directory, IIS (6/7), GPO, ACLs

• Understand and can manage Oracle RDBMS instances and clusters.

• Setup and maintain SUN/Oracle Solaris containers and zones on SPARC servers

• Manage Microsoft SQL server 2005 and 2008 R2 editions, manage and architect database clusters and replication

• Familiar with MySQL

• Proficient with RedHat Enterprise Server (5.5, 6.1), Blackberry Enterprise Server, CentOS, Ubuntu distributions

• Troubleshoot and support server, network and security systems;

• Familiar with PKI, cryptography and data security and archiving

• Develop server monitor scripts, data collection, reporting and report generation routines using PHP, Perl and .NET (C#/J#/VB.NET) and PowerShell

• Familiar with Cisco 6500 series catalyst switch platform

• Possess the ability to implement QoS, PBR, CAR and SLA mechanisms to meet various datacenter application requirements

• Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new technology products by working with vendors

• Familiar with the following wireless standards e.g. UWB, Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiUSB, WIMAX,CDMA,GSM,GPRS,EDGE and Wi-Fi: 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n standards.

• Proficient with the following routing protocols, RIP, BGP, OSPF

• Implement and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans in line with RTOs defined by management
