POSTION: Business Reporting Lead
LOCATION: Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, or San Francisco, CA (whichever location works best for you)
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 5 months with the possibility for extension
Background & Context: The primary focus would be the Business Reporting Lead for a Merkel to Acxiom Migration project. The Acxiom solution includes the following capabilities CDI engine, customer data warehouse, Cognos, SAS, and Unica. Responsible for managing and coaching a team of 7 business reporting resources that are not experienced with these type of projects through the Test and Deploy phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities –
• Collaboratively work with the project manager and team leads to develop the business plan and resource assignments for business supported activities (e.g., Testing, Training, Deploy/Cut-Over)
• Work with Testing lead/UAT Test Lead to jointly develop plan and business resource assignments to support UAT test cases/scripts creation and execution
• Be a strong business advocate during all aspects of the migration to ensure high priority business requirements are being addressed
• Lead and coach the business and consumer team members on UAT Test Scenarios and test case/script creation
• Responsible for performing quality reviews of the Test scenarios, test cases/scripts and test results
• Responsible for managing day to day issues/risk escalation and resolution of all business related project issues and risks
• Providing coaching and support to team members – help them by dividing work based on skill level/exp, and prioritizing and manage workload
• Proactively monitor team member's progress and deliverable quality and help team members by providing coaching and support
Required Skills –
• Project experience implementing customer data warehouses, BI, and Analytics capabilities
• Experience with business User Acceptance Testing and Training
• Expertise in statistical analysis complemented with evidence of strong data analysis skills including but not limited to trend analysis, statistical significance, summary statistics, etc…
• Develop actionable information to inform business decisions and functions
• 2-3 experience with Cognos
Nice to have Skills –
• 1-2 years' experience with Unica Campaign Management
