Duration:6+ months

Additional Job Details: 
 
• 3-7 years of experience working as SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 database administrator/architect in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers
• Experience in the planning and deployment of high-availability database environments (Clustering, Mirroring, Log-shipping).
• Experience in database replication.
• Experience in database performance tuning and process optimization.
• Availability for 24 x 7 support as needed.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, with little or no direct supervision.
• Sound knowledge on ITIL processes.

DESIRABLE SKILLS –

• Knowledge on Sybase database administration is a plus
