Oracle Weblogic Administrator 

 

Job Description:

 

·         At least 7 years of experience in Designing, Implementation and Deployment of different types of middleware platforms preferably Weblogic (9, 10 and 11) platform in a large distributed environments.

·         Experience in configuration, setups, management, provisioning, monitoring and performance tuning of Weblogic J2EE application platform.

·         Strong working knowledge of Linux is a must and hands on working experience with automation, UNIX/Perl scripting.

·         Extensive experience with Apache, F5 load balancer, Tivoli Access Manager (TAMe), CA Siteminder, LDAP.

·         Experience with High-Availability architecture, Proficient in articulating and documenting the application architecture vision.

·         Experience in establishing best practices, methodologies and standards related to the shared hosting and deployment of Weblogic J2EE Application server technology.

·         Hands on experience integrating WebLogic with websphere MQ series.

·         Experience in Java, J2EE, and core Java packages, working experience with Oracle and DB2 databases.

·         Support system users, responding with limits of the 24/7 systems service level agreement. This includes device, configuration, and monitoring requests from users.

·         Hands on expertise using monitoring systems preferably CA Wily Introscope or Nagios.

·         Understanding of ITIL standards, ITSM implementation and working knowledge of BMC Remedy ticketing systems.

·         Ability to operate across multiple tasks concurrently and assume the responsibility for the appropriate technical and architectural implementation of projects.

·         Excellent analytic, organizational, and facilitation skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, resolve or escalate issues and risk, direct priorities, all under tight deadlines.
