Job Description:
•Analyze and resolve assigned production issues to determine root cause
•Implement coding, data or process based solutions within established Service Level Agreements.
•Review new functionality in support of production turnover and acceptance process
•Produce client facing root cause analysis reports, issues summaries and status updates
•Collaborate with developers from Feeds, SCM and Data warehouse peer groups to assesss and resolve cross functional issues
Required Qualifications:
•Demonstrated ability to operate with changing priorities and work within an SLA driven environment.
•BS, MS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development,
data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture.
•5-10 years experience programming Core Java, JSP, Spring and J2EE technologies.
•Coding experience using Web-presentation technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), SQL scripting, and Unix scripting.
•Experience developing or maintaining high volume Java transaction processing applications in an MQSeries environment.
•Experience with automated build utilities and continuous integration environments.
•Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions,
including but not limited to Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
Desirable Requirements:
•Experience in e-commerce application development
•Experience working with or developing Open Source projects.
•Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.
•Experience with Oracle 10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.
•Experience with MuleESB.
