Job Title: Datapower Support Resources

Job Description:

Skills Required -

DataPower Support

• Manage the daily operation of Datapower environments. Monitor resource utilization, including such items as CPU, memory, and disk utilization.
•  Report on system utilization and plan/implement recommended maintenance as required.
• Configure and administer IBM DataPower appliances
• Configure services and security policies and Deploy code
• Support system tests and performance tests
• Tune device and services for performance
•  Participate in issue identification and resolution.
•  Understand IBM Web Sphere MQ and connectivity with datapower
• Comfortable in creation and working with IBM PMRs

Operational

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the data power platform.
• Create support tickets and work with IBM as needed.
• Maintain documentation related to infrastructure and architecture of integration systems.
• Gather and Analyze Error Reports
• Understand and interpret the Packet Captures
• Handling Out of Memory Issues and Memory leaks
• Large Debug Logs and monitoring service Probes.
• Handling Scalability Concerns
• Implementing Troubleshooting and Debugging techniques
• Problem Ticket creation and Management
• Handling support calls with multiple teams on a phone.
• Understand and Implement the Operating Procedures.
• Determine cause of problem
• Recover from problem
• Follow the message path
