Modis has immediate need for a consultant for a unique role.  This is for a major telecommunications company, famous for being a pioneer in internet technology.      This is a semi development/QA role and the skill set needed is as follows:       1. Basic knowledge about Tomcat, Apache – build installation and testing the installation process     2. Excellent UNIX skills      3. Scripting Languages (Perl, php, Shell script)  experience,     4. Execute and understand complex MySQL db querys.     5. SOAP UI  (Groovy Scripting is Plus)     6. Experience testing multi-tier applications     7. Selenium IDE – record test cases on selenium RC test suite     8. Trace flow from log and analyze the issue      9. Basic JAVA and Servlet/J2EE     10. Junit Test framework     11. Performance testing – Jmeter is plus
