UNIX/Networking Administrator

 

Location:  Albany, NY

Duration: 9 Months

Skills:

1.     Minimum of 4 years experience in the installation, administration and support of UNIX or Linux in an Enterprise Heterogeneous computing environment.

2.     Minimum of 4 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Cisco networking equipment and software (including IOS versions 12.1 and higher).

3.     Minimum of 4 years experience in the installation, administration and support of firewalls and related software.

4.     Minimum 1 year experience administering Cisco Call Center products

5.     Minimum 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of RedHat Linux operating system versions 3, 4, and 5. 

6.     Minimum 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Cisco Network Assistant and Cisco Security Device Manager. 

7.     Minimum 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Cisco VPN appliances, including ASA's. 

8.     Minimum 1 year experience in installing, administering and supporting Cisco IronPort Security Appliances (email, web access or email encryption). 

9.     Minimum  2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Checkpoint firewalls and software

10.   Minimum 1 year experience running security utilities and/or appliances, such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and penetration tests

11.   Minimum 1 year experience in installing, administering and supporting Open Source monitoring tools Big Brother (Hobbit) and MRTG. 

12.   Minimum 1 year experience in installing, administering and supporting VMWare ESX. 

13.   Minimum 1 year experience in configuring Active Directory authentication (via RADIIUS) for VPN's, CheckPoint firewalls, and Cisco equipment. 

14.   Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

15.   CheckPoint firewall certification (CCSE).
