JOB TITLE:                Java Developer

Location: Dearborn , MI

Duration: 6 Months

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

·         Solid knowledge of J2SE (1.5, 1.6)

·         Working knowledge of J2EE (servlets, JSP, JDBC)

·         Familiarity with at least one servlet container (Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere, etc.)

·         Templating experience (Nvelocity, Freemarker, etc.)

·         RESTful services experience (RESTEasy, Restlets, etc.)

·         Nice-to-have: Working experience with Spring

·         Good debugging skills (from the front-end to the back-end)

·         Understanding of basic design patterns (factory, adapters, MVC, command, etc.)

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or closely related field or five years professional level computer programming experience in a real world, consumer facing web site. Work on a marketing web site a plus.

·         Experience developing consumer facing web-based database driven sites, applications using C# as well as a high degree of knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, Java, JSP, JavaScript, Transact-SQL and MSSQL Server 2005 or greater.

·         Experience in technical and procedural documentation required.

·         A minimum of 5+ years experience developing or testing commercial software with at least 3 years experience programming consumer facing web sites using Java.

·         3+ years team or technical experience in development
