Title/Role: Enterprise Architect

Description:
 
Enterprise architect with specialization in integration leveraging SOA/ESB, and proven experience in the evolution of a legacy enterprise portfolio of applications and interfaces to a modernized, services based integration.
Candidate will need proven success designing and implementing an enterprise integration roadmap, leveraging SOA/ESB for enterprise architecture with a cross domain, multi-phase legacy system replacement.
Experience should include defining an enterprise level architecture including SOA/ESB governance, technology standards, design standards, staffing structure, integration with SDLC, definition of logical and physical enterprise architecture based on IT strategy, developing roadmaps of existing to new interfaces leveraging most appropriate integration technologies, business requirements and industry drivers.
Hands on experience in defining forward looking integration blueprints and roadmaps, mentoring and training of integration approaches across IT including analysts, developers, operations/infrastructure, and management.
Technology background needs to include MQ Broker, WebSphere, Oracle Fusion, Oracle AIA, Oracle Packs, preferably with integration experience including Peoplesoft, CIS/CC&B, Hyperion and mobile workforce management.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Definition of enterprise architecture incorporating SOA/ESB as part of a multi-phase replacement of legacy systems and point-to-point interfaces
-Creation of a future integration roadmap across an enterprise portfolio of applications and interfaces, identifying the most appropriate interface approach and technology/toolset with specific depth of knowledge in Oracle integration tools and SOA/ESB technology
-Design scalable solution architectures based on business goals, requirements and IT strategies
-Define, promote and perform governance activities for SOA/ESB across IT
-Interact with the program management office to align the system development methodology with the solution architectures
-Mentor and train SOA/ESB governance and operating model across IT including organizational change management
-Enable and promote re-use through definition and design of forward-looking services
-Document and publish IT strategies, principles and practices, solutions analysis and architecture designs
-Work closely with project teams to ensure that the services and technical architecture meets project objectives
-Provide technology blueprints, roadmaps, and optimization and migration strategies for current and future applications
-Participate in and conduct code reviews

Prerequisites/Skills:
-Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
-10+ years of experience in IT industry
-5+ years of experience in an equivalent role as a technical architect and/or solutions architect
-3+ years of service-oriented architecture experience
-3+ years of ESB experience
-3+ years of J2EE experience
-Demonstrable experience implementing SOA/ESB/EAI across domains in large organizations with diverse technology infrastructure and hands on experience with service repositories and registries, application/web servers, and application load balancers
-Expert-level skill and knowledge of SOA principles and implementation methodologies
-Expert-level skill and knowledge of ESB, Messaging, Pub/sub, JMS, Web services, WSDL, SOAP
-Hands on development knowledge in IBM and Oracle suite of SOA and messaging products including Websphere MQ, Websphere ESB, Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle SOA suite 11g
-Experience in Web service and Messaging Testing tools
-Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, components and processes
-Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions architectures
-Excellent leadership, analytical and planning skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
-Ability to effectively lead and work in a team environment
-Experience in overseeing and designing the end-to-end security of an IT infrastructure
