Job Description:
Location : Boston - MA
Rate : $48/hr
Length : 1 year
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Forms and Reports, to include experience in Stored Procedure Programming for Oracle PL/SQL (9i-10g-11g)
- Experience Upgrading Oracle Forms 5.0 and Oracle Reports 3.0 to Oracle 11g R1 Forms and Oracle 11g R1 Reports
- Upgrading Oracle 8i Database to Oracle 11g R2 Database will be a plus
- Experience in setup, configuration and tuning Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server/Oracle Fusion Middleware (9i-10g-11g) will be a plus
- Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or HP-UNIX will be a plus
This is still open and we need strong Oracle resources with 11g, 10g, forms and reports.

The Contracted Oracle Application Developer will work with the current IMS support team. The support team is responsible for developing new functionality, responding to customer issues, maintaining a defect free production environment which operates 365x24x7. A new team is being formed in conjunction with the current support team to address the conversion and upgrade of the legacy application from Oracle 8i RDBMS, Oracle Forms 5.0 and Oracle Reports 3.0 application to Oracle 11g R1 Forms and Oracle 11g R1 Reports using Oracle 11g R2 RDBMS.
Key Skills:
1. Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Testing and Debugging Complex Forms and Reports using Oracle Forms and Reports
2. Strong programming skills in Oracle Forms and Reports and good knowledge or experience in Stored Procedure Programming for Oracle PL/SQL (9i-10g-11g)
3. Upgrading Oracle Forms 5.0 and Oracle Reports 3.0 to Oracle 11g R1 Forms and Oracle 11g R1 Reports
4. Experience in preparing design specifications and user manuals for the application changes
5. Upgrading Oracle 8i Database to Oracle 11g R2 Database will be a plus
