Primary Skill:

Data warehousing implementation, Teradata Solution Lead / architect

·         Min. 10-14 Years work experience in Data warehousing with 6-10 years on Teradata

·         Strong skills in Teradata

·         Capable of technically driving a DW solution to match a requirement

·         Experience of leading DW/ETL development, build mgmt, release mgmt and deployment in multiple data environments including production support

·         Capable of leading a team of up to 7-10 developers and getting them to work for a particular project goal ? Responsibilities

·         Lead projects in the implementation and use of new BI software tools and systems.

·         Lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.

·         Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.

·         Design semantic layer, metadata

·         Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.

·         Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system.

·         Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to the organization's business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

·         Performance-tune applications/software developed as necessary.

·         Assist in evaluating and selecting database/data warehouse components, including hardware, relational database management systems, ETL software, metadata management tools, and database design solutions.
