Urgent need for Jasper Report/ireport developer

Duration: 3+ month contract

Location: Plano TX

 

Will work on a team that is developing a new Point of Sale system in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Will modify existing programs to fix defects and enhance the application based upon user requirements.

Will be responsible for creating and maintaining applications that meet the needs of the business community.

Will assist in the identification of business requirements, creation of functional designs, and creation of technical designs.

Will encode programs, create and perform unit tests, and assist in user acceptance testing.

 

This position requires 4+ years experience with Java,

2+ years experience with Jasper Report/iReport, and experience within an Eclipse-based development environment (ie. MyEclipse).

Prefer experience with J2EE, EJB, Servlet, JSP, JavaSwing, CVS, UML Modeling, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, Ant Scripts, and Configuration Management practices.

Must have excellent problem solving skills and very good communication skills.

Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
