Project Areas:
Install LAN/WAN devices in datacenter/Co-locations
Configure/Monitoring all network devices and monitor systems using snmp and logging
Configure and install devices in our datacenter’s
Debug and fix issues over the phone or in person when we have an outage
Document the Network Devices/Data center Diagrams.
Must Have
Overall min 8 years experience in networking area.
5 – 8 years Hands on experience with LAN/WAN- Switches and Routers.
3- 5 years Hands on experience with Firewalls, VPNs.
Very good Knowledge of Switching and Routing Protocols including Vlans, Tagging, Stacking, Port channels, MSTP, OSPF, VRRP, VRF,
Configure/Work on highly available devices/protocols.
Ability to act as a consultant and provide recommendations to the IT / Design Team.
Good Trouble shooting skills, work independently and as a Team member to resolve problems
Excellent Documentation Skills.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
Worked on configuring storage devices to high speed switches
Worked on configuring Vmware servers to high speed switches
MPLS site wide understanding/ implementation
Monitoring Networking devices using SNMP and apps like Nagios or other monitoring systenms.
Prefer knowledge on Fortinet Firewalls, F5 SSL VPNS.
Knowledge of Windows/, Linux/*nix and VmWare
