Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team.
· Maintain knowledge of IPS enterprise architecture and major applications.
· Maintain general knowledge of current IT technology and trends and detailed knowledge of standard technologies adopted by KBR in assigned IT technical areas of responsibility
· Maintain knowledge of Oracle EBS application best practices and standards in assigned areas of responsibilities
· Provide application installation, configuration, and administration for Oracle EBS environments,
· inclusive of production and pre-production systems, for global user base and project teams.
· Develop technical designs for IT Oracle EBS environments and support implementation of the designs
· Research, evaluate, select, and recommend new software technology and product standards developed of standard configurations for new technology
· 7+ years IT technical experience, including 4+ years technical experience with global enterprises
· 5-7 years specialty experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite in an application administrator/application DBA role.
Detailed experience with following areas:
· Application installation
· Patching
· Tuning
· Application cloning
· Backup/recovery
· Database snapshot/rollback/refresh
· User administration
· Experience installing/configuring/administering Oracle eBusiness Suite, it's associated technology stack, and complementary products in a Unix or Linux environment
· Experience installing/configuring/administering Oracle eBusiness Suite, it's associated technology stack, and complementary products in high availability architectures (such as MAA), utilizing products/technologies such as RAC, clustering, load balancers, etc.
· 2-3 years of experience installing/configuring/administering the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite of products in conjunction with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
