Java Technical Lead

Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 months

Technical Skills:
.Object oriented Analysis
.Object oriented Design
.UML
.Object oriented Modeling Tools (any are ok)
.Design patterns (examples: J2EE core patterns, 'Gang of Four')
.Java development experience would be a huge plus
.Proven skill at implementing cross-platform solutions is desirable

IT/General Experience:
.5+ years as a designer or lead developer - does not have to be a "lead" developer for all 5 years, but should demonstrate significant experience in the timeframe
.Clear demonstration of making design decisions and enabling the development team to realize the design
.Team leadership experience is a requirement

Business Experience:
.5+ years working in Insurance and/or Financial Services industry with a focus on financial transactions, billing, payments or money disbursement.
