Title : SQL Technical Analyst

Location : Sacramento CA

Duration : 12+ Months

must have Epic and HL7 experience.

 

Supports technical standards and testing of enterprise policies, systems, and/or applications. Performs highly complex technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology related activities with little to no supervision. Provides customer support for technology, leveraging Remedy to track and perform necessary trend analysis of issues. Provides support to the applications, network, systems, and storage, and escalates issues as needed. Provides training and mentoring to Technical Analyst 1 and Technical Analyst 2. Leads and/or participates in highly complex projects.

 

Required:

Strong SQL skills

Data analysis and profiling skills and experience

Experience and skills in reporting

Experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008, Java, .NET, Tomcat

Microsoft Office tools

 

Preferred skills:

Experience with Initiate software

Windows and UNIX system management experience

Development background

HL7 experience

 

Education/Certification/Licensure:

A BA/BS degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MCSE/MCP certification is desired.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

·         Demonstrated experience designing and supporting enterprise environments and the configuration and implementation of application software. Proven experience creating recurring processes designed to maintain system uptime.

·         Technical analysis experience, ability to work in a team environment, maintain a high level of customer service, and possess attention to detail as typically acquired in 6 to 8 years.

·         Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast paced dynamic working environment.

·         Development of process and procedures.

·         Proven problem determination and resolution experience.

·         Previous project management experience.

·         Experience with developing methodologies for analysis, development, implementation, and testing.

·         Experience in production related issues by performing cause analysis.

·         Medium to large organization experience with Hospital and/or other health care experience.

·         Knowledge and understanding of information technology concepts and technologies, as is knowledge of computer systems hardware and software, entity relationship models, design, protocols, and methodologies.

·         Ability to document and implement short and long term plans of action.

·         Proven verbal, written, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

·         Adhere to change management policies.

·         Interpret error logs and troubleshoot system and application issues.

·         Communicate effectively; work independently and in a team environment.

·         Proven ability to document system workflows.

·         Manage project tasks to the project plan for multiple projects.

·         Good time management and organization skills.

·         Proven ability to prioritize multiple activities and objectives in a rapidly changing environment, and deliver quality service with little to no supervision.

·         Interacts with internal and enterprise staff in a professional, effective manner.

·         Convey technical concepts and user needs to "lay" individuals, as well as communicate technical issues.

·         High commitment to detail and accuracy.
