Need ETL Data Warehouse QA Tester for TX or MI. (8+ months) at $35/hr

Location: El Paso, TX or Pontiac, MI
Duration: 8 Months

Main Duties:

MUST:

·     5+ years of hands on experience as a software tester

·     Experience with one of the following: Ab Initio or AutoSys or Tivoli

·     Strong backend testing experience with SQL and Unix

·     Must have hands on unix, with the ability to set up data from an ETL standpoint. Heavy backend data, running autosys jobs (pulling data, transforming and loading)

·     Experience in testing (test case creation, execution and validation of results)

·     Unix Scripting

·     Understand basic commands for unix (ask what they are)

·     Have you done any unix scripting? What tools did you use? (looking for corn shell scripting)

·     Oracle/SQL server and SQL testing –ability to write queries

·     Experience mocking test data to satisfy test scenarios (mock data testing)

 Plus:

·     Automated testing experience (WinRunner/QTP) is a plus

·     Knowledge of Remedy is a plus

·     Familiar with Quality Center, ClearQuest
