Job Description:

• 70% Report Development/Creation with 30% Customer Interaction for requirement gathering/Analysis.
• Required to deal with complex data models and object relational database mapping to produce complex reports.
• Design, development and creation of custom reports based on business requirements.
• Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Very Large Oracle databases.
• Creation, maintenance and reviewing of DB code and performance tuning.
• Design and Develop database packages, procedures and functions.
• Provide technical solutions to projects in different stages of the development life cycle.
• Support development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications
• Writing ad-hoc queries for various reporting requirements.
• Ensures that all deliverables are thoroughly documented.

Skills & Experience

Required skills:

• Experience in creation and publishing of BI reports.
• Experience with Data transfer, ETL process.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle 10g+
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including tuning.
• Experience with Unix/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting.
• Import/Export large data volume.
• Good knowledge of job scheduling and monitoring tools.
• Experience of using Business Objects and report building functions.
• Familiarity with Data warehousing and Oracle specific tools and utilities.

• Experience in using TOAD or SQL Developer
• Good documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Java, XML and HTML
• Knowledge of open source web development.
• Knowledge of SOA Architecture / Oracle SOA Suite.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
