Position: Sr. Data Analyst (SAS and Excel)
Project: Working as part of team of 2-3 Data Analysts with responsibilities for pulling a packaging data from various sources validating results and documenting the work.
This team provides analytical support to internal customers (process leaders responsible for designing claims and handling processes).
* An ideal person will have 5 years of business experience with at least 2 years of analysis experience.
* Prefer candidates with degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or Statistics or equivalent work experience.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
* Must have strong Excel (including v-look-up, pivot tables, macros,charts and graphing and functions)
* Basic SAS knowledge
* Proficiency in any reporting tools (i.e. Crystal Reports)
* Problem solving skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Must have advanced Excel skills to include creating and using Pivot Tables,charts, v-look up, graphing and macros.
* Familiarity/basic understanding of SAS
* Must have strong analytical and creative problem solving abilities
* Ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations.
* Database experience including the ability to create PowerPoint Graphs, tables, and information reports in a slide format.
* Must be a high effective communicator (both written & orally)
* Must have experience working with clients and business partners
