Job Description
Must Have Skills:

·       Senior Java developer with good experience with designs, provide architecture inputs; Need good grasp on Java 1.5 or higher; Exposure to SOA services, WSDL.

Desired Skills:

·       Presentation layer experience and understanding of handling content, AJAX frameworks, Object-oriented JavaScript, CSS, XHTML and HTML.

·       Experience with cross browser development and browser/platform compatibility issues.

·       Good to have exposure to Websphere IDE, GIT, Clearcase.

Project Details:

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

·       Candidate will contribute to development efforts for the presentation tier of very large retail company. Work closely with the development group to meet aggressive deadlines on challenging projects for presentation layer projects.

·       Design and implement highly interactive and complex user interfaces and presentation logic for large-scale/high-traffic web applications.

·       Design and implement highly efficient, light weight and re-usable UI components using Object-oriented JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Java and HTML.

·       Contribute to UI design and work with product designers to enhance eBay UI experience.

·       Work with other engineers, UI designers, architects, product/project management, QA, and Operations.

·       Lead and Participate in design discussions, code reviews and project related team meetings.

·       Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges.

·       End to end product ownership by supporting  feature rollouts and sharing on-call duties to help assist with site issues.
