Title: Sr. Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (Need in-person after telephonic)

Duration: 3 months +

Rate: $60/Hr

 

Over 10+ years of IT Experience in full life cycle development involving architecting, analysis, design, development, deployment, testing, documentation, implementation & maintenance of application software in Web-based, Distributed n-tier, Rich client desktop application, RIA, Mobile Web Applications and Client/Server architecture.

 

·         Experience in various Java and J2EE technologies including Servlets, JSP, EJB 3, JDBC, RMI, JNDI, Struts 1.x, 2.x, 2.1.x, Tiles, JSTL, JMS, JNDI, JUnit, JavaScript, JPA, Hibernate 3, SSH factory and JTAPI.

·         Experience in various java desktop technologies including JFC/Swing, JDNC, JGoodies, JFreechart, JGraph and Java web start.

·         Experience with XML based technologies such as XML, XSTL, XSD, SOAP and XML Beans.

·         Experienced in Java web services using JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, Apache Axis 1.4, SOAP and WSDL.

·         Experience in Spring 2.5.

·         Experience in JBoss 5.0, Websphere, GlassFish V3, Tomcat 6.0, Weblogic and Orion.

·         Experience in Relational Database Design with Oracle, Postgres, MySql and MS-SQL.

·         Experience in complex SQL Queries, PL/SQL stored procedures and triggers.

·         Experience in Object Oriented Design and Analysis (OOAD), UML.

·         Experience in Maven and Ant scripts.

·         Experience in AJAX / AJAJ and JSON, DOJO

·         Experience in software configuration management using Subversion, Clear Case, Harvest and CVS

·         Experience in Eclipse, My Eclipse, RAD, Netbeans and JBuilder development tools.

·         Experience in C, C++, Unix Korn Shell Scripts and Perl Scripts.

·         Experience in Software Development Life cycles/Processes and Quality Standards (CMMi level 5).

·         Experience in RUP, Waterfall and Scrum Agile development methodologies.

·         Experience in developing java applications on Solaris / Windows / Linux platforms.

·         Experience in Telecommunication, NMS, Insurance and Banking Domains.

·         Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication skills and a team player.
