Direct Client Rek: Senior ERP Specialist - PeopleSoft - Financials in Washington, DC

Role                       : Senior ERP Specialist

Location               : Washington DC

Duration              : 3+ Months

 

Responsibilities:

The client is seeking several resources in the labor categories described herein to assist in performing an upgrade assessment to PeopleSoft 9.1 and People Tools 8.52. The selected resources will be involved in analyzing requirements and providing deliverables that explain how PeopleSoft 9.1 and

People Tools 8.52 differ from the client's current PeopleSoft 8.9 and People Tools 8.49 environment, and sharing best practice recommendations for the planning and implementation approach and staffing strategies given the client's current operating

environment, including any innovative opportunities based on prior experience to enhance the success of the implementation. An aggressive yet realistic timeframe is expected for the upgrade project.

General responsibilities:

Provide hands-on analysis of requested upgrade, enhancements, or changes to the PeopleSoft Financial application, as well as other related applications;

Provide full life-cycle support in requirements definition, system analysis, design, development, quality assurance, documentation, testing, and production support;

Create, update, and review functional documents (e.g., policies and procedures, operations manuals, change requests and training materials.)

Support the development of Statements of Work and Business

Cases, as required; and/or

Provide knowledge transfer and training to project team members to include PeopleSoft module implementations/upgrades, financial tables, business processes, and configuration.

 

Required skills:

Experience upgrading PeopleSoft Financials from version 8.9 to version 9.1 in a medium or complex organizational infrastructure.

At least one full lifecycle engagement as a PeopleSoft Financials

Consultant/Analyst in a large-scale financial systems ERP implementation/upgrade;

Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in one or more of the following modules: one or more of the following PeopleSoft Finance modules: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management

Ability to create, update, and review functional documents such as policies and procedures, operations manuals, change

requests and training materials; and

Strong business/systems analysis experience working closely with users to resolve problems and capture new business requirements.

 

Preferred skills:

Note: Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but not required:

Multiple PeopleSoft modules: GL, KK, PO, AP, AR, AM and/or PO modules;

Federal financial systems;

Working with entry events; and/or

PeopleSoft reporting tools (nVision, Crystal, PS Query),

PeopleSoft security administration and Workflow.

 

Other:

Bachelor's Degree required
