Requirement:
• Qualified candidates must have a BS Degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 8 years of Automated Testing experience including experience with Selenium, IBM Rational Functional (RFT) and Rational Performance Tester (RPT).
• Should have experience with Selenium testing, Selenium IDE, Selenium RC and Selenium GRID. (Note a requirement put a plus
• Hands on UNIX knowledge to write and execute queries is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required; active clearance preferred.
Description
• The qualified candidate will follow existing quality assurance methodology and workflow to ensure that the source applications and their components are using best practices to achieve minimal application defects upon production release.
• Will participate in Business Requirements reviews and work with systems analysts/developers to fully test application changes; understand the functional specification and scope of releases to design robust testing harness to ensure quality delivery; and write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required data using AQUA DATA or SQL Plus (strong knowledge of Oracle database required).
• Will analyze the results of all phases of testing in order to provide recommendations to various project management teams; and demonstrate strong and clear communication skills with the ability to work with all project members including representatives from business and technical groups of people in a collaborative environment.
• Will attend project meetings as required.
Primary responsibilities:
• Create, validate Manual and Automated test cases and review test case coverage
• Design, develop and execute data driven, reusable and maintainable test cases
• Development of functional and regression test cases
• Log and track defects in Clear
• Develop, document software test plans and test cases as required
• Execution of tests and verification results
