Title: Peoplesoft HR Functional Consultant

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 7+ Months 

 

This position will be responsible for the following:

 

Design and Requirements

 

·         Participate in and represent HR in upgrade design and requirements sessions.
• Provide input and recommendations on best practice for functionality, design and process as it relates to PeopleSoft and related third party applications and integration points.
• Assist in the review of all project documentation to ensure decisions made in design and requirements sessions have been documented appropriately.
Testing
• Review test scripts and scenarios for all HR modules.
• Coordinate and participate in test script review sessions with HR users.
• Coordinate and facilitate HR module testing sessions with HR users.
• Assist with coordinating any pilot groups or testing sessions external to the HR division.
• Execute testing scripts for HR core module testing, and other modules as needed.
Web Based Training and Documentation
• Work with HR users to document new functionality and processes to update existing or create new internal training documents.
• Work with HR users to update existing or create new web-based training materials using the Captivate tool.
• Assist in drafting process flow documentation with HR users as necessary.

·         3-5 years experience with PeopleSoft HCM required. PeopleSoft HCM testing experience preferred.
• PeopleSoft HCM Upgrade to v9.1 experience preferred (preferably from v8.9).
• 3-5 years experience in business system design and analysis required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
• Knowledge Microsoft Project, Word and Excel required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Visio preferred.
