Length of Contract: 1 Yr
Position: Data Warehousing Developer
As a Data Warehousing Software Developer, you will help drive implementation of data warehousing solutions to meet the needs of internal finance and manufacturing customers. You must have the ability and interest to work with a variety of technologies to solve varied types of problems, and must have a background that demonstrates this ability.
Responsibilities:
- Technical design work, including data modeling, ETL design and reporting interface design.
- Development and implementation of technical designs.
- Driving testing and deployment processes.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of development experience in designing and delivering complex, large-volume, diverse system applications.
- 3+ years recent Biotech or Pharma experience IS A MUST.
- Strong programming skills in Java C/C++ and extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting skills (Perl, Shell, Python, XML).
- Data integration with Oracle ERP
- Commercial BI platform development
- Hyperion tools (including Essbase)
- Excellent database development skills including advanced SQL programming, a solid understanding of database technologies, and logical and physical data modeling.
- Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)
- Experience developing custom ETL design and development for complex, multi-source data warehouse applications
- Experience installing BI Analytics
- Solid knowledge of development methodologies and project life cycles, strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a track record of working on a variety of applications and problems
