Title:  Risk Management Analyst

Location: New York, NY

Length of Contract: 1 Yr

 

 

Responsibilities:

The consultant will be responsible for partnering up with various Derivatives Trading desks, the Quantitative Analysis team, and other technology teams to gather business requirements, propose technological solutions, and deliver various components of a real-time risk management system that can handle all flavors of multi-asset class exotic derivatives.

The position involves designing, prototyping, developing, and testing of various components of a real time risk management system for exotic Equity, FX, Interest Rate, and Commodity derivatives. The position also requires working with the enterprise risk management and oversight group to deliver daily VaR and Stress scenario reports

Required Skills:

7+ years application development and implementation experience.

5+ years working experience in Capital Markets/Trading.
6+ years experience in JAVA
5+ years experience in C++
5+ years experience in PERL
3+ years experience of working with an exotic equity derivatives desk
Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous messaging work flows is a MUST.
In-depth knowledge of equities, FX, and Commodities derivatives trading and risk management.
Experience in the full software development lifecycle. 
Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting and debugging skills.
