JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duration           : Long term

Location           : Foster City,CA.

Rate                 : DOE

 

Work Auth Status required:  ( Citizen /GC/EAD)

 

Requirement :

 A matured 5+ years SQL Support Specialist with hands on experience with  SQL Server  2005/2008  . Excellent T-SQL, implementation and deployment experience with VLDB/Clustered database .24X7 Production support and problem solving .

This is not a DBA position.

 1. Application level support of a very complex web application with complex combination of rules.

2. On-boarding Banks, add users, Set up Database. 50% time would be on implementation, deployment

3. SQL server support specialist (Not DBA). Strong SQL skills, can go to work-around level resolution of complex problems.

4. Very strong understanding of Web Farm /Cluster

5. .Net Skills are good to have

6. Very strong problems solving skills

7. Very Strong T-SQL /Query background on VLDB
