Description:
o Experienced webMethods Tech Lead
§ 10+ years of experience in IT
§ 4+ years of webMethods experience
§ 4+ years of project management experience
o Summary: Experienced project manager with webMethods administration and development experience to lead the migration of wM components from one data center to another. This person will be responsible for creating the detailed, step-by-step project plan in preparation for the data center migration as well as the detailed, step-by-step cutover plan to execute the actual move. The project manager should also have a strong technical background in wM platform administration and architecture. This person will be expected to actively contribute to the cutover plan and pre-cutover activity identification (this person will not passively take requirements from other technical resources). He/she will be responsible for:
§ Creating and tracking to the project plan for migration of wM components and CA Introscope
· Including lending technical knowledge of the wM components, Solaris, security, and database
§ Logging and reporting risks and issues related to the migration
§ Contributing to the staffing plan
§ Leading and contributing to requirements gathering for the migration plan
§ Leading the testing of the migration plan
§ Leading prerequisite steps for migration
§ Coordinating between all impacted systems for testing and for the migration
§ Communicating with impacted stakeholders
§ Leading the execution of the migration
§ Managing through issues before and during migration
§ Managing stabilization of the platform after migration
o Desired experience (in order of importance)
§ webMethods data center migration or replatforming
· Experience with moving webMethods components from one data center to another
· And/or Experience moving active webMethods components from one production environment to another
o OS replatform, upgrade, etc.
§ webMethods administration
· Experience in day-to-day administration of wM IS, TN, Broker, MWS, RI
· Platform planning including high-availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning
· Solaris administration
· Security including SFTP, SSH, HTTPS
· 3rd party load balancers (Big-IP a plus)
· Database administration (MS SQL Server and Oracle)
§ webMethods development
· Experience in development of services on wM IS, TN
· Experience with wM adapters
o Especially SAP and preferably with SNC
§ CA Introscope
· Experience deploying CA Introscope
· Experience configuring alerts and dashboards for Introscope
